What if it Doesn’t Pass?

Because eSafety checks require an inspection of critical mechanical and safety components, there is always the potential that your vehicle won’t pass straight away—particularly if it’s lived a full life!

But no need to stress if it doesn’t pass initially—firstly this means we’ve probably caught a potentially dangerous issue before it has a chance to cause damage, and secondly we’ll be able to address it on-site. For relatively minor issues such as broken headlights, balding tyres or worn brake pads; we’ll typically have spare parts in stock. We’ll alert you to the problem after inspection, provide pricing and make the adjustments straight away—if that’s what you’d like to do. For more complex issues—and where parts need to be ordered in—feel free to leave the vehicle with us until we can complete the work.

Once your vehicle has passed its inspection, we submit all details electronically to the NSW Government. Almost immediately afterwards, certification will appear in their system, which means you can complete your registration online, or at your nearest Service NSW branch.
